Handpainted Thanka Pendant

These beautiful hand-painted thangka pendants depict various Buddhist deities sitting on the symbolic lotus flower with their hands situated in various mudras. Each painting is encased by an intricately carved frame featuring a dragon and traditional Tibetan pattern. The back has a carving of the Om mantra. Thangkas are traditionally used to depict important life events of religious teachers and come painted on a variety of materials including silk, cotton and scrolls.
