This beautiful standing prayer wheel has been carefully constructed using inlaid turquoise and other colourful stones. The barrel of the wheel contains a scroll upon which the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum has been written many hundreds of times. It is thought that when the wheel is turned it has much the same meritorious effect as orally reciting the mantra.
