Buddha Thangka Painting No.374
About this product
This vibrant Buddha Thangka painting depicts Amoghasiddhi, one of the five mythic Buddhas of the Vajrayana tradition. His name means 'He Whose Accomplishment Is Not In Vain', and he is associated with the destruction of envy. In this beautiful thangka painting his right hand is held in the Abhaya mudra mudra, the 'gesture of fearlessness'. Known as Thangkas or Thangkas, these stunning works of Buddhist art are each carefully hand painted with natural dyes and colourings. They have been painstakingly constructed by extremely skilled artists in Nepal. Each of these large pieces is unique and has a deeply intricate and elaborate composition. All of our Thangkas are presented in their own traditional brocade trim and veil hanging. Inc brocade approx.: 99cm × 61cmPainting approx.: 50cm × 36cm
