Ceramic Amphora

Anamphorais a type of container used to store various products, dry or liquid, including oil, wine, milk, or grain. They have a specific shape with a pointed bottom which allows them to fit tightly against one another, and are then tied together with rope and delivered by land or sea. These decorative versions are handmade by a small family pottery in Texcoco, Mexico.
