Colourful Ceramics

These Catrina statues have been made with the upmost of care in a small family workshop on the outskirts of Texcoco. The attention to detail is astounding. Originally made by artist Jose Posada, 'La Calavera Catrina' has become a very popular image in Mexico and is closely associated with the Day of The Dead festival. 

The colourful 'Arbol de Vida's' are stunning hand crafted ceramic trees with an exquiste level of detail. Each flower has been hand painted and attached to the main design by wire to create a vibrant tree of life display. Our largest reach 53cm in height!
