This vibrant red mask depicts Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava ("Born from a Lotus") and who is often considered to be the second Buddha. He is believed to have introduced tantric Buddhism to Tibet and to have established the first Buddhist monastery there. This mask has been carved and painted by highly skilled Newari artisans in Nepal. These pieces are sold individually. Please do not order more than one of each individually coded unit. The mask will show small signs of wear and tear, adding to their rustic uniqueness. Approx. 34cm × 24cm × 12cm
