Bamboo Guiro and Shaker

This item has been designed to provide two instruments for the price of one. Firstly, the bamboo tube is filled with small stones to create an excellent shaker. Secondly, the bamboo has been hand carved into shallow ridges to make a great sounding guiro. The instrument is supplied with a scraper and has been decorated with a technique of burnt etching. Our bamboo guiro/shakers are hand made in Bali using fast growing and inexpensive bamboo. As a result of this they can be sold at a lower price and also do not effect the level of hardwood forests making their production more environmentally friendly.
