Beautiful copper prayer wheel decorated with traditional Tibetan pattern and the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra. The rich metallic colouring is complimented by the striking dark wood handle. Prayer wheels are traditional Buddhist items that contain a small scroll inside printed many times over with a mantra, usually Om Mani Padme Hum. Devotees believe that turning these wheels has the same meritorious effect as repeating the mantra verbally.
